Rawalpindi: A ceremony was organized at GHQ in honor of national athlete Arshad Nadeem who won gold medal for Pakistan in Paris Olympics 2024.

According to the Department of Army Public Relations (ISPR), 1984 Olympics athletes, national hockey, cricket, street football and women athletes participated in the ceremony while Jahangir Khan, Islahuddin, Shahbaz Sr., Sohail Abbas, Muhammad Asif and Easam. Haq also participated in the event.

Army Chief General Asim Munir appreciated the historic achievement of Arshad Nadeem and congratulated the national athlete for winning gold medal in single event for the first time.
